Reptile

Reptile is a classic character from the Mortal Kombat series, debuting as a hidden character in the original 1992 game. He is a humanoid-reptilian from the realm of Zaterra, and one of the last surviving members of his species. Reptile is known for his green attire, stealth abilities, and acid-based attacks. Initially a palette swap of Scorpion and Sub-Zero in early games, he has evolved into a unique character with his own moves and appearance. He often serves various antagonists, such as Shao Kahn and Shang Tsung, in hopes of reviving his race. Reptile’s appearance and backstory have evolved across different Mortal Kombat titles, growing from a simple palette swap to an iconic character with a complex history and distinctive look. He is known as a master of stealth, and a loyal servant, often with a character that has an obsession with reviving his home world that leads to erratic behaviour.
