Bo' Rai Cho is a fictional character in the Mortal Kombat series. He is an Outworld martial arts master known for his obese physique, heavy drinking habits, and unique drunken fighting style. Despite his seemingly lazy and unkempt appearance, Bo' Rai Cho is an extremely skilled fighter who incorporates his intoxicated state into his fighting style, often surprising opponents. He is not only a master of martial arts but also adept at using various special abilities, such as vomit attacks, seismic stomps, and belly bounces. Bo' Rai Cho is a mentor to many Earthrealm warriors, including notable characters such as Liu Kang, Kung Lao, and Kai. Although he hails from Outworld, he is sympathetic to Earthrealm and chooses to help its warriors against the threats from Outworld. Due to his Outworld heritage, he cannot fight for himself in the Mortal Kombat tournament, as his victory would be counted as a win for Outworld. Therefore, he dedicates his efforts to training Earthrealm fighters to help them defeat enemies including Shao Kahn. Bo' Rai Cho plays a vital role as an ally in the Mortal Kombat series, and while often portrayed in a comedic light, he is a loyal warrior and mentor.
