Mavado

Mavado is a character in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series, making his debut in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. He is a high-ranking member of the Red Dragon clan, second only to Daegon. Mavado is known for being ruthless, cruel, and cunning, a stark contrast to Kano of the Black Dragon clan. While Kano relies on brute force and intimidation, Mavado relies on discipline and superior intelligence in combat. Mavado utilizes elastic whips with steel hooks and hookswords for attacking and swift movement. He has a strong rivalry with the Black Dragon, and has attempted to eradicate them completely. Mavado has appeared in several Mortal Kombat storylines, clashing with various characters and experiencing different fates in various timelines. He is ultimately killed by Cassie Cage, and returns as a Kameo fighter in Mortal Kombat 1.
