Moloch

Moloch is a powerful demon warrior in the Mortal Kombat series, first appearing in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. He is a massive, lumbering Oni from the Netherrealm, known for his grotesque appearance and immense strength. Moloch often appears alongside Drahmin, another Oni, and they are portrayed as bloodthirsty and brutal creatures. In Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, Moloch serves as a sub-boss, while in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, he becomes a playable character. His signature weapon is a large chained orb, which he does not carry in Armageddon, but it appears in his special moves. Moloch is known for his immense power and devastating attacks. Despite his size, he has a weakness to being comboed. In Mortal Kombat's storyline, Moloch has collaborated with sorcerers Shang Tsung and Quan Chi, and later fights for the forces of darkness in the battle of Armageddon. His fate varies in different timelines, sometimes being killed and other times gaining great power. Moloch also appears in the animated film Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge, where he is depicted as the demon torturing Scorpion.
