Overlord Zeffeero

Overlord Zeffeero is a character in the Mortal Kombat series, first appearing in the Konquest mode of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. He was initially the ruler of the city of Lei Chen in Outworld, named after the Lei Chen Mountains surrounding it. Zeffeero had once served as an advisor to Shao Kahn but later rebelled against him and established his city of Lei Chen to protect it from Shao Kahn's rule. His refusal to surrender to Shao Kahn led to the city being besieged. Zeffeero attempted to seek allies but ultimately his city was taken over by Hotaru and the Seidan forces. Notably, in Mortal Kombat 1, the name Zeffeero is also used as the real name of another character, Rain. Rain, originally a Demi-God and now an Edenian water mage, also uses the name Zeffeero in the new timeline. Overlord Zeffeero is not a playable character and is primarily featured in the story, portrayed as a local leader who resists tyranny, and his actions and choices in the narrative impact the Mortal Kombat universe.
