Skarlet

Skarlet is a fictional character in the Mortal Kombat series. She first appeared as a downloadable content (DLC) character in Mortal Kombat (2011). In her backstory, Skarlet was originally an orphan on the streets of Outworld, adopted by Shao Kahn and transformed into a powerful warrior and assassin through blood magic. She is known for her ability to manipulate blood, using it as a weapon and gaining strength from her opponents' blood. She is also one of Shao Kahn's most loyal followers. Skarlet was initially a figment of fan speculation, stemming from rumors of a character color glitch in Mortal Kombat II, but was later officially adopted as a playable character. Her abilities and backstory were further developed in subsequent games. In Mortal Kombat 11, Skarlet returned as a playable character and a minor antagonist in the story mode. Her character design highlights her obsession with blood and her loyalty to Shao Kahn, making her a unique and memorable Mortal Kombat character. Skarlet possesses a variety of blood magic-related moves, including blood ball attacks, blood teleportation, and the ability to construct weapons from blood.
