Satoshi Hasashi

Satoshi Hasashi, also known as Jubei, is a minor character in the Mortal Kombat franchise. He is the son of Hanzo Hasashi (Scorpion) and Harumi Hasashi. Satoshi, along with his mother, was a victim of the Shirai Ryu clan massacre, which was a key factor in Hanzo’s transformation into the specter, Scorpion, and his drive for revenge. The circumstances of Satoshi’s death vary across different storylines. In Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge, he is taken hostage and killed by Quan Chi disguised as Sub-Zero. In the 2021 Mortal Kombat film, he and his mother are frozen to death by Bi-Han. Despite being a minor character, Satoshi is crucial to Scorpion’s narrative and his animosity towards the Lin Kuei clan and Quan Chi. Satoshi has also appeared in different forms in the Mortal Kombat: Legacy web series and the Mortal Kombat X comics. As a primary motivator for Scorpion's revenge, Satoshi plays a significant role in the Mortal Kombat universe.
