Vorpax

Vorpax is an original character in the Mortal Kombat franchise, first appearing in the Mortal Kombat: Conquest television series, portrayed by actress Tracy Douglas. She is the daughter of Queen Kreeya, a powerful empress of an ancient race of warrior women known as the Kreeyans. Vorpax is known for her beauty and slyness, possessing extensive knowledge of the realms. She was imprisoned in the Cobalt Mines of Shokan for years due to deception. Though skilled in acrobatics and martial arts, she possesses no supernatural powers, as the cobalt mines suppress latent abilities. Her primary weapon is her seductive demeanor, allowing her to entice anyone to reveal secrets. In the series, Vorpax forms a reluctant alliance with Shang Tsung and manipulates situations to her advantage. Her initial mission was to explore weaknesses for her mother Kreeya to invade other realms. After dealing with Kung Lao and his allies, she betrays her mother and ultimately becomes the new queen of her people after a relationship with Shang Tsung. She is eventually killed by Shao Kahn’s Shadow Priests, and her final fate is unknown, as the show was canceled. Her character is complex, being both a victim and manipulator, and was crucial to the plot development of the series.
