Kreeya

Kreeya is a fictional character from the television series *Mortal Kombat: Conquest*, portrayed by Fabiana Udenio. She is the queen of the legendary Kreeyan race, a species of Amazonian warrior women, and also their progenitor and "mother." Kreeya hails from an unnamed distant realm, where she rules a society comprised entirely of females. The Kreeyans reproduce through giant insectoid hives, with embryos rapidly maturing into fully-grown warriors possessing combat prowess. Kreeya possesses the power to breed, although this power can be passed to her firstborn daughter upon her death. She also carries a special necklace, a symbol of her culture and empire, believed to withstand all types of magic. Kreeya attempted to conquer Outworld and Earthrealm but was thwarted by Shao Kahn and Earthrealm warriors. She was eventually killed by her daughter, Vorpax, who inherited her breeding powers but failed to establish a new hive, leading to the implied extinction of the Kreeyans. In combat, Kreeya demonstrates formidable strength, speed, and defensive skills, adeptly utilizing a variety of attacks and counter-techniques. Her story has left an indelible mark on the *Mortal Kombat* series.
