Hideyoshi

Hideyoshi is a minor character in the Mortal Kombat series, first appearing in the animated series Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm, serving as one of Shao Kahn's deadliest warriors and a member of his Kahn Guard. Hideyoshi is depicted as an enormous man proficient in wielding various weapons, including a whip, katana, staff, and halberd. He wears heavy, but not very covering, armor. He first appears in Episode 11, "Amends", where he attacks the Defenders and easily overpowers them. Just as he appears to be on the verge of victory, Kabal makes a timely entrance, knocking Hideyoshi back into a portal with two powerful kicks. Later, Hideyoshi reappears alongside Kano and his Black Dragon allies, attacking Kabal, but they are defeated by Kabal's new allies and sent back to Outworld through a portal. Hideyoshi is never seen again after this, suggesting he might have faced Shao Kahn's wrath for his failure. Although he has a minor role, his imposing figure and varied arsenal of weapons left a memorable impression on viewers.
