Karbrac

Karbrac is a non-canon character from the Mortal Kombat franchise, making his debut in the first episode of the animated series *Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm*. He is the leader of the Tarkatans, described as the 'new' leader, although the previous leader is never mentioned. Karbrac is seen as a replacement for Baraka, and his name is likely a phonetic anagram of Baraka's with the addition of the letters 'R' and 'C'. In *Mortal Kombat 11*, some of Baraka's attacks, such as the 'Karbrac Kick' and 'Karbrac Stab,' reference Karbrac's name. Karbrac also appears in the animated *Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe*, again as the leader of the Tarkatans. Although he is a non-canon character, Karbrac’s name and image still generate discussions among Mortal Kombat fans and are considered part of the series. He is depicted as a monstrous cannibal who is vengeful and allied with Shao Kahn in Outworld.
