Wynd and Rayne

Wynd and Rayne are twin sisters from the Mortal Kombat universe, serving as servants to the thunder god Raiden. Residing in the high Heavens, they are depicted as tall, beautiful, and muscular women, adorned in blue and black attire, with Rayne sporting a jacket. They are loyal to Raiden and fight to protect Earthrealm. They also carry out tasks for Raiden, such as gathering items and preparing healing tea. They are fiercely loyal and do not tolerate uncouth behavior, such as Kano's advances, which resulted in them beating him up. While they have not appeared as playable characters in the main series, they have a presence in comics and fan works. They each have distinct fighting styles, with Wynd being a rushdown character and Rayne specializing in ranged attacks. Their origin stories vary, with some versions stating they were kidnapped by the Red Dragon and trained as assassins before joining the White Lotus Society under Ashrah's guidance to control their powers and improve their swordsmanship.
