Shin Samurai Spirits: Haohmaru Jigokuhen, also known as Samurai Shodown II, is a fighting game developed by SNK and released in 1994 as the second entry in the Samurai Shodown series. This installment significantly improved upon its predecessor, introducing new playable characters, enhanced animation, and super special moves. It is widely regarded as one of the best titles in the series due to its refined gameplay. The game is set one year after the first Samurai Shodown, and the plot revolves around a new threat, Mizuki Rashojin, a vengeful spirit who seeks to bring chaos and destruction in the name of the dark god Ambrosia.
