Genan Shiranu

Genan Shiranui is a character from the SNK fighting game series Samurai Shodown (also known as Samurai Spirits). He first appeared in the original Samurai Shodown and was removed from the playable roster after Samurai Shodown II, only making cameo appearances in other characters' endings. Genan is a member of the enigmatic Shiranui Clan, who follow the "way of the darkness." He seeks to master the demonic path and become a demon king, traveling throughout Japan and killing people to achieve this goal. Despite this, Genan actually values his family, having a wife named Azami and a daughter. Genan's signature weapons are a pair of gauntlets with claws, and he can use poison gas attacks. His personality is that of a self-confident but somewhat clumsy villain, often parodying the protagonist Haohmaru. Uniquely, the Shiranui clan has an aesthetic sense opposite to humans; what appears ugly to humans is considered beautiful by his clan. Genan's image and backstory make him a unique and interesting supporting character in the Samurai Shodown series.
