Neinhalt Sieger

Neinhalt Sieger, also known as ナインハルト・ズィーガー in Japanese, is a character from the Samurai Shodown series, first introduced in Samurai Shodown II. He is a Prussian warrior and the leader of the Red Lion Knights. Sieger travels to Japan to confront the threat posed by Mizuki Rashojin. In his ending, he saves his country from demons and marries Elizabeth, the daughter of the Prussian King. In the spin-off game Samurai Spirits RPG, Sieger marries Queen Victoria and protects France from demon attacks. He assists the party battling Mizuki in Paris and Green Hell. However, Mizuki traps him within a Dark Bell, which enhances Ambrosia's power and absorbs evil spirits. Knowing the danger, Sieger allows the party to destroy the bell, sacrificing himself in the process. Sieger was created to be a powerful overseas character, given "macho" traits to appeal to female players. His name literally translates to "No Stop Winner" in German.
