Tokihime

Tokihime (時姫) is a character who appears in the Samurai Shodown RPG, Shinsetsu Samurai Spirits: Bushidou Retsuden. She is the only villain in either chapter that the player won't fight. She is one of Amakusa's servants from his rebellion at Shimabara. When her lord succumbed to Ambrosia's will, she was also subjected to the dark god's influence and cursed with black wings. Tokihime faithfully remains by Amakusa's side and is tasked by Ushiwakahime to block the party's path to Amakusa's castle. She is a kind yet depressed lass who treasures her loyalty to her lord. If the party saves a Christian village before their encounter, they will be given a statue of the Virgin Mary. When presented to Tokihime, she is too moved by its presence to concentrate on her magic and flees. The second time they meet, the statue and her faith cleanse Ambrosia's influence. In gratitude, she flies the party to Amakusa's floating castle and then departs for heaven, begging them to save her lord's soul. Tokihime is voiced by Junko Iwao.
