Reppu no Hion

Reppu no Hion is a character introduced in Shinsetsu Samurai Spirits: Bushidou Retsuden. She is a mandatory party member in the game's second chapter. Voiced by Urara Takano, she shares the same voice actress as Reon. In the game, the protagonist is transported two hundred years into the past where they meet Hion. Initially, Hion suspects the protagonist is a monster due to their sudden appearance, but after Bizuki intervenes, she becomes their companion. Hion is a longtime friend of Bizuki, possibly also serving as her servant. She joins Bizuki on a journey to defeat the demonic entity Mizuki. After failing in their battle against Mizuki, Hion decides to stay in the past and pass down the mission of destroying Mizuki to her descendants. Before the protagonist returns to their time, Hion gives them her bell. Hion is a cheerful and lively lady who is true to her duty. Unlike her descendant Reon, Hion is more open about her sexual identity, expressing romantic interests in Genjuro and Ukyo. Hion fights similarly to her descendant, and upon joining the party, she is usually slightly stronger than Reon.
