Seishiro Kuki

Seishiro Kuki, also known as Kunou Seishiro, is the main protagonist of *Samurai Shodown: Warriors Rage*. He is a member of the Oniwabanshu, following in his father's footsteps as their leader. Seishiro and his adopted brother, Tohma, were both trained in swordsmanship by their father, a legendary samurai who wielded two powerful swords. Tohma, consumed by jealousy over Seishiro's blood relation to their father, murdered him and stole one of his prized swords, Kohroh. Years later, Seishiro is ordered to infiltrate Ritenkyo and eliminate the rebellious Razor Trio, discovering that Tohma is one of their leaders. Seeking revenge, Seishiro departs with his father's friend, Jin-Emon Hanafusa, carrying the other sword, Sei-oh. In his ending, Seishiro defeats Tohma, reclaiming his father's stolen blade and continuing the Kuki legacy. Seishiro is a stoic and intelligent hero, often drawn to duels that interest him rather than the ones he is assigned. He is a man of few words, often sleeping while standing, which annoys those who try to converse with him. He is able to anticipate those around him and is typically out of sync with his surroundings, always expressing an unbiased opinion. This can make him appear rude and arrogant, but he is wise beyond his years and his words often carry valuable advice. His actions exasperate his partner, Jin-Emon, as Seishiro tries to act and work alone.
