Yaci Izanagi

Yaci Izanagi is a minor villain character in the *Samurai Shodown* series. He first appeared in *Samurai Shodown: Warriors Rage*. In the game, he is one of the most powerful warriors on the prison island of Ritenkyo, making a living as a freelance bodyguard alongside his criminal partner Haito Kanakura. Yaci's life changes when he meets a popular (male) geisha named Namino. Hoping to have a better future with Namino, Yaci promises to stop his criminal life and flee Ritenkyo with him. He starts to oppose his gang and kill its members. Realizing someone might hurt Namino, he sets out to protect his lover. Despite this, Namino is tragically killed as they escape, leaving Yaci devastated. Yaci's personality is arrogant and somewhat cruel, he enjoys seeing others bleed and suffer, and is said to have a vampiric-like urge to drink blood. His fighting style focuses on reversals, stuns, and ranged attacks. His weapon's saw-edged blade produces a unique grinding sound upon contact.
