Rinka Yoshino

Rinka Yoshino is a character introduced in Samurai Shodown: Warriors Rage. She is voiced by Yōko Asada. Originally from a samurai family, she was sent away to train in seclusion. During her training, her family fell into ruin and was eventually wiped out, presumably by the shogunate. As a result, Rinka developed a deep resentment against the shogunate and all of its representatives. She lived alone within the anti-shogunate organization Ritenkyo until she joined Jushiro Sakaki and Saya in an anti-shogunate force called the “Atom Rebels.” She eventually met Seishiro, who challenged her to become stronger and more open-minded, opening a new path for her life. In her ending, she takes Seishiro’s advice and decides to leave Ritenkyo. She tells Seishiro of her plans, though he is humorously asleep at the time. Rinka is stubborn, resistant to change, and distrustful of strangers, preferring to be withdrawn from crowds. Her constant companion is a gray hamster named Tetsunosuke. She primarily fights with a nodachi, which has an impressive attack range and delivers significant damage, but it can be slow. To compensate for this, players can switch her to a close-combat stance for quick counterattacks. All her attacks are named after various flowers.
