Mina Majikina

Mina Majikina is a character from the Samurai Shodown series, first introduced in Samurai Shodown V. She is the first character in the series to use a bow and arrow as a weapon. Mina was born with powerful spiritual energy and was sent away from her home to train in the art of exorcising demons. Her village both revered and feared her powers, leading to her isolation and inability to express emotions. She left her village to destroy ayakashi (demons). After a battle, she found her village destroyed and all the inhabitants dead. In the ruins, she found a seemingly harmless creature named Chample and considered it a close friend. However, she eventually discovered that Chample was the demon that destroyed her village. After fighting Chample, Mina absorbed some of his evil power, which blinded her right eye and corroded her body. In Samurai Shodown (2019), she overcame the evil power and found peace alongside Chample. Mina was created to be the "polar opposite to Nakoruru" and a unique heroine for the series. Her initial design was as the "opposite of Nakoruru", with contrasting fighting styles, weapons, and appearances.
