Johnny

Johnny is a minor recurring character in the Final Fantasy VII series. He first appears as a minor character in Final Fantasy VII, but has an expanded role in Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Johnny lives in the Sector 7 slums of Midgar with his parents. He is a pure-hearted troublemaker who wants to venture out into the world, but often finds himself in difficult situations. Though initially harsh toward Cloud Strife, Johnny admires him and harbors a crush on Tifa Lockhart. Johnny is generally portrayed as a comic relief character. In Final Fantasy VII Remake, his role is expanded, and players can unlock the trophy "The Johnny Experience" by completing events related to him. Johnny is recognizable by his bright red cropped hair, stylized goatee, and unfastened jacket. He is often loud, passionate, and somewhat insecure, frequently getting himself into trouble by talking too much. Despite this, he is well-liked by the people of the slums, who miss him after he leaves.
