Yazoo

Yazoo is a villainous character in *Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children* and one of the three Remnants of Sephiroth, along with Loz and Kadaj. Yazoo embodies Sephiroth's allure, possessing a cool and quiet demeanor, often fighting alongside his brothers. He has long silver hair, cat-like green eyes, and a tall, lean build. Yazoo wears a black leather coat with a single wing design on the back, reminiscent of Sephiroth. His primary weapon is a handgun called "Velvet Nightmare," which he uses effectively at long range, though he is also capable in close combat. He is typically calm and reserved, rarely showing strong emotions, but can be more intense and sadistic during fights. Yazoo’s name comes from the geological term “yazoo stream,” a small river running alongside a larger one, likely alluding to his existence as a part of Sephiroth and his eventual dissolution into the Lifestream.
