Shalua Rui

Shalua Rui (シャルア・ルーイ) is a non-playable character from the *Final Fantasy VII* series. Born in 1986, she is a soldier and scientist working for the World Regenesis Organization (WRO). In her work for the organization, she lost her left eye, left arm, and several internal organs, which have been replaced with biomechanical parts. She uses a prosthetic arm as her life-support system. Despite her disabilities, she is still an able marksman, wielding a pistol as her weapon. Shalua first appears in *Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII*, where she seeks her sister, Shelke, who was taken by Shinra. She later appears in *Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII*, continuing her search for her sister and sustaining serious injuries while saving her during an attack on the WRO base, leaving her in a coma. Her ultimate fate is left unresolved, as she is placed in a medical capsule, lost in the ruins of Midgar. Shalua is voiced by Yuu Asakawa (Japanese) and Kim Mai Guest (English).
