Cait Sith

Cait Sith is a fictional character in the Final Fantasy VII series, first appearing in Final Fantasy VII. He is a robotic cat, remotely controlled by Shinra employee Reeve Tuesti, who typically rides atop a giant stuffed Moogle. Cait Sith initially works as a fortune teller in the Gold Saucer before joining Cloud's party, playing a significant role in the story. He utilizes megaphones to command his Moogle in battles and has unique, chance-based skills like Dice and Slots. Despite joining initially as a Shinra spy, he grows fond of Cloud and his allies, eventually making sacrifices for their cause. Cait Sith is known for his playful yet sometimes cowardly personality. His appearances vary across different Final Fantasy VII installments, such as riding Red XIII in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, and returning as a playable character with unique mechanics in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Inspired by the Scottish myth Cat-sìth, Cait Sith has diverse forms and abilities within the game.
