Biggs

Biggs is a non-player character in the Final Fantasy VII series. He has a minor supporting role in Final Fantasy VII, but a major supporting role in Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Biggs is a core member of Barret Wallace's independent Avalanche cell, alongside childhood friends Wedge and Jessie Rasberry. Biggs serves as the strategist for Barret's Avalanche cell, planning their missions. He is calm and rational, contrasting Barret's volatility. He likes tidiness, usually works for the neighborhood watch in the Sector 7 slums, and anonymously aids the orphanage in the Sector 5 slums. Born in 1982, Biggs was brought to the Sector 5 orphanage. He later took the name Biggs, grew up with Wedge and Jessie, and ultimately became a member of Avalanche. In the original Final Fantasy VII, Biggs dies during the Sector 7 plate collapse, but in Final Fantasy VII Remake, he is saved by Cloud and survives. Biggs plays a significant role in Avalanche's operations, known for his strategic mind and care for his comrades. His design is inspired by actor Charlie Sheen, particularly his appearance in the movie Platoon.
