Rufus Shinra

Rufus Shinra (ルーファウス神羅) is a major character in the Final Fantasy VII series. He is first introduced as the vice president of the Shinra Electric Power Company, later becoming president after his father's death. Rufus is characterized by his short blonde hair, blue eyes, and his signature white three-piece suit. He is an ambitious and ruthless figure, who seeks to control the world through fear rather than money. In Final Fantasy VII, he frequently clashes with the main party and dispatches the Turks to carry out various missions. However, in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, he appears to have reformed, seeking to restore the world his company helped to damage, though his motives remain somewhat ambiguous. Rufus is also a skilled combatant, wielding a custom-made shotgun and often accompanied by his military hound, Darkstar. He makes multiple appearances across the different Final Fantasy VII games, showcasing his complex personality and desire for power.
