Hojo

Hojo is a major antagonist in the Final Fantasy VII series and a mad scientist. He serves as the head of the research department for the Shinra Electric Power Company and is also the mastermind behind the SOLDIER Program and the Jenova Project. Hojo conducts experiments without regard for ethics, treating lives as mere test subjects. His conflicts with the protagonist group span across the entire series. Hojo is also the biological father of Sephiroth, a key connection to Sephiroth and other characters' fates. He pursues scientific research relentlessly, sacrificing others for his goals. His research projects, including the use of Jenova cells and the 'Reunion Theory', have profound impacts on the world of Final Fantasy VII. He eventually mutates into a monster during battles with the heroes.
