Watts

Watts is a non-player character in Final Fantasy VIII and a key member of the resistance group, the Forest Owls. He primarily handles information gathering and acts as a liaison between the Forest Owls and the hired SeeD mercenaries. Watts is known for his overly polite demeanor, often addressing others as 'Sir', a characteristic that becomes a notable trait in the game. He works alongside Zone and Rinoa, serving as a behind-the-scenes supporter within the Forest Owls. Watts's father, along with Zone's, founded the Forest Owls, but they were executed for their resistance against Galbadia. Watts and Zone then continued their fathers' work, leading the rebellion. Throughout the story, Watts aids the SeeD members in locating the Forest Owls' base and provides intelligence when necessary. Although his personality is somewhat timid, he strives to overcome his fears for the safety of the organization and his comrades. Watts also holds the unique Triple Triad card 'Angelo,' which players can obtain by challenging him in the game. Overall, Watts is a loyal, responsible, and resourceful character in intelligence gathering, making him an integral part of the storyline in Final Fantasy VIII.
