Lionheart

Lionheart, or ライオンハート in Japanese, is the ultimate weapon for Squall Leonhart, the main protagonist of Final Fantasy VIII (ファイナルファンタジーVIII). It is a powerful gunblade that is both Squall's signature weapon and one of the strongest in the game. Obtaining Lionheart requires gathering rare materials, including Pulse Ammo, Adamantine, and Dragon Fangs, which can be obtained through card modding or defeating specific enemies. Lionheart is also the name of Squall's ultimate Limit Break, which deals multiple instances of high physical damage to a single enemy, making it a critical ability in the late game. Beyond being a weapon, the Lionheart symbolizes Squall's courage and determination, as well as his journey throughout the game. The 'Lionheart' also appears as other weapons, abilities and items throughout the Final Fantasy series, for example in Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy XIII, it is passed on in various forms. Furthermore, Lionheart is representative of courage and strength without flinching.
