Shooting Star

The "Shooting Star," (シューティングスター) in *Final Fantasy VIII* is a notable weapon, particularly known for being the ultimate weapon of Rinoa Heartilly, one of the protagonists. This weapon is not only powerful in terms of attack and hit rate within the game, but it is also beloved by players for its unique angel wing design. In the game, players need to collect specific materials such as Windmills, a Regen Ring, a Force Armlet, and Energy Crystals to obtain this powerful weapon through modifications. The Shooting Star has appeared multiple times in the *Final Fantasy* series, generally as a powerful weapon or skill, for example as an adornment in *Final Fantasy XIII-2* and as a special skill or weapon in other *Final Fantasy* spin-offs. Its design concept is often associated with stars or meteors, embodying a romantic and powerful image.
