Angelo Strike

Angelo Strike (アンジェロストライク) is a Limit Break for Rinoa Heartilly in Final Fantasy VIII. This skill is randomly activated when Rinoa is at low health or under the 'Aura' status. When triggered, Rinoa commands her dog, Angelo, to attack an enemy. Angelo grabs the foe, leaps into the air, somersaults, and slams them to the ground. Afterward, Rinoa rewards Angelo with a dog biscuit. Angelo Strike is Rinoa's Level 2 Combine ability, with damage based on her Strength stat. Players learn this ability by reading 'Pet Pals Vol. 1,' which is given to the player by Zell on the train to Timber as part of the story. After learning it, players must walk approximately 800 steps with Rinoa in the party to master the skill. Angelo Strike has reappeared in multiple Final Fantasy games, becoming one of Rinoa's signature moves and providing her a strong physical attack option in combat. The skill is popular for its unique animation and cute interaction between Rinoa and Angelo.
