Angelo Reverse

In Final Fantasy VIII, Angelo Reverse is a special ability of Rinoa's pet dog, Angelo. This ability is not activated through the usual Limit Break 'Combine' command, but rather it is a passive skill that triggers randomly. When a party member is knocked out, Angelo may appear and revive them, restoring 12.5% of their maximum health, similar to using a Phoenix Down. This ability is learned by reading the Pet Pals Vol. 4 magazine, which can be purchased at the Timber Pet Shop. After reading the magazine, the player needs to walk approximately 250 steps with Rinoa in the party to master the skill. Angelo Reverse is a very useful ability, especially as it can provide a free revive in battle without consuming items and can be stacked with other revival methods, increasing the party's survivability. Angelo's passive abilities make Rinoa a valuable member in tough encounters. It should be noted that in the final dungeon, Angelo Reverse will not take effect until the Resurrect seal has been removed.
