Angelo Search

In Final Fantasy VIII, "Angelo Search" is a special ability of the character Rinoa, where her pet dog Angelo randomly finds items during battles. This ability is acquired by Rinoa by learning the 'Pet Pals Vol. 5' item in the game. Angelo Search activates automatically during battles, when no other action is taking place, Angelo will appear and dig up items on the battlefield. These items range from common consumables to rare and valuable ones. Players can automate item farming by putting enemies into an inactive state (e.g., via Confusion) and waiting for Angelo Search to trigger. In Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, items exclusive to the Chocobo World mini-game have been added to the Angelo Search item list. This random ability is useful for obtaining rare items and enhancing the character's capabilities, especially when you can access it in the late game.
