Ifrit

Ifrit (イフリート) is a significant Guardian Force in Final Fantasy VIII. It is a fire-elemental summon, obtainable by defeating it in the Fire Cavern. As a Guardian Force, Ifrit can be junctioned to characters, granting them access to magic, elemental attacks, and stat boosts. Its signature attack is Hellfire, a powerful fire-elemental attack that damages all enemies. Ifrit is an integral part of gameplay, with its abilities being crucial for players' success throughout their journey. Furthermore, Ifrit is a recurring summon throughout the Final Fantasy series, appearing with varying designs and abilities, although in Final Fantasy VIII, it has a more bestial, animalistic form rather than the humanoid forms it takes in other entries.
