Leviathan

Leviathan, known as 'リヴァイアサン' in Final Fantasy VIII, is a powerful Guardian Force (GF) in the game. It appears as a massive sea serpent capable of controlling water elements, with its signature attack being 'Tsunami,' which deals water-based damage to all enemies. Leviathan can be obtained by drawing it from the boss NORG during battle, or later from Trauma in the final dungeon. Leviathan's abilities include Magic Junction (Mag-J), Spirit Junction (Spr-J), and elemental attack and defense enhancements. Notably, it is the only Guardian Force to naturally learn the 'Recover' command, which fully heals a single target. It also has an ability that allows the character it’s junctioned to automatically use recovery potions when damaged. In the 'Triple Triad' mini-game, Leviathan is a powerful card that can be refined into items. It is a classic water-based summon in the Final Fantasy series, highly popular among fans.
