Doomtrain

Doomtrain, also known as Glasya Labolas, is an optional Guardian Force in Final Fantasy VIII. It is a Poison-elemental summon that can inflict various status ailments on enemies. Doomtrain does not provide stat junctions naturally but learns comprehensive elemental and status attack and defense junctions, including useful x4 variations. It is the only GF that naturally learns Auto-Shell and the first GF on the roster to learn +40% versions of SumMag+ and GFHP+ abilities. Its unique abilities allow players to refine weapons and create high-tier medicines and stat-boosting items. To obtain Doomtrain, players must gather specific items, including the Solomon Ring, 6 Steel Pipes, 6 Remedy+ items, and 6 Malboro Tentacles. Additionally, Doomtrain appears as a Triple Triad card, part of the Queen of Cards sidequest, being a very strong and difficult-to-defeat card that can be refined into 3 Status Guards. Glasya Labolas has appeared in various forms throughout the Final Fantasy series, with the Doomtrain incarnation unique to Final Fantasy VIII.
