Eden

Eden (エデン) is a powerful Guardian Force (GF) in Final Fantasy VIII. It is the game's ultimate summon, obtained by drawing from the optional boss Ultima Weapon at the bottom of the Deep Sea Research Center. Eden can break the damage limit and has rare Speed, Evasion, and Hit junctions. Its unique abilities allow the junctioner to devour opponents for various effects, including permanent stat boosts, and to create items that teach Guardian Forces new abilities. Eden's summon attack, "Eternal Breath," deals non-elemental damage to all foes and ignores their magic resistance. Eden’s design combines mechanical and angelic imagery, linking to the "Gardens" theme in the game. It takes 1000 EXP to level up, the most of any GF. Beyond Final Fantasy VIII, Eden also appears in other Final Fantasy titles, such as Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIV, and Final Fantasy Record Keeper, with different forms and abilities, but it is often associated with its immense power and cosmic summon animation.
