Counter Rockets

"Counter Rockets," also known as "Premeditation," is a summon ability of Cerberus in Final Fantasy VIII, with the Japanese name "反撃の狼煙" (Hangeki no Noroshi). It is not a direct attack but instead grants the "Double" and "Triple" statuses to the entire party, significantly increasing the number of spells that can be cast, thus providing an advantage in battle. Cerberus is a Guardian Force obtainable during the Galbadia Garden battle or in the final dungeon. Besides its summoning ability, Cerberus can learn various support skills, including "Auto-Haste," which greatly impacts battle strategies. In other games within the Final Fantasy series, "Counter Rockets" appears in different forms. For instance, in Final Fantasy Dimensions II, it serves as a summoning ability for the character Morrow, increasing the attack power and speed of the party.
