Mega Flare

In Final Fantasy VIII, "Mega Flare" (メガフレア) is the signature move of the summon Bahamut, a powerful non-elemental attack. When Bahamut is summoned as a Guardian Force (GF), it unleashes Mega Flare to inflict heavy damage on all enemies. Unlike traditional magic point consumption, magic in Final Fantasy VIII is acquired by drawing it from enemies or refining it from items. Mega Flare, as Bahamut's ultimate skill, ignores the magic defense of enemies. Bahamut's summon animation is elaborate, first soaring through clouds, then launching multiple energy balls at enemies, and concluding with a massive energy explosion. This powerful attack has left a deep impression on players. Mega Flare is also a recurring skill in the Final Fantasy series, appearing in many titles.
