Electrocute

Electrocute is a Limit Break ability for Quistis in Final Fantasy VIII, classified as Blue Magic. It deals lightning-elemental magic damage to all enemies, with its power determined by Quistis's Magic stat and the current Crisis Level. The higher the Crisis Level, the more damage it inflicts. This ability is learned by using a Coral Fragment, which can be obtained from enemies in the Deling City Sewers or through card modification. Aside from Quistis's skill, some enemies like Cockatrices also use similar lightning-based attacks, referred to as "Electric Discharge." Electrocute is relatively potent early in the game, particularly against mechanical enemies vulnerable to lightning, though other more powerful abilities may surpass it as the game progresses. Overall, Electrocute is an early, useful area-of-effect attack and an essential part of Quistis's skillset.
