Micro Missiles

Micro Missiles (マイクロミサイル) is a Blue Magic skill used by Quistis Trepe in Final Fantasy VIII. It is learned by using the item "Missile" and deals proportional damage to enemies based on their current HP, similar to gravity magic, and scales based on the user's Crisis Level. Micro Missiles is ineffective against most bosses as they are immune to gravity-based damage. The skill is effective regardless of the user’s stats, making it useful even at lower levels. Besides Quistis, the enemy GIM52A also uses Micro Missiles, halving a target's HP, though damage is halved if the target has Protect status. In the game, the Missile item can be obtained by defeating or stealing from certain enemies, such as BGH251F2 or GIM52A, and also found in specific areas. Micro Missiles is effective against certain enemies immune to instant-death spells, like Tonberries.
