Wall

In Final Fantasy VIII, "Wall" is a protective Limit Break exclusive to Selphie Tilmitt, available through her unique "Slot" ability. When Selphie's health is low or she is under the "Aura" status, she can use "Slot," and "Wall" is one of the potential results. This ability casts both "Protect" and "Shell" on all living party members, halving physical and magical damage, but also reducing magic healing effectiveness. Notably, "Wall" ignores the "Reflect" status. While "Wall" is a useful defensive tool, it's not entirely reliable due to the random nature of the "Slot" mechanic. Nonetheless, it can provide significant protection to the party, especially in the early game or against certain bosses.
