Elixir

In Final Fantasy VIII, the Elixir (エリクサー) is a potent restorative item. It completely restores the HP and MP of a single character, and sometimes cures status ailments. Elixirs are relatively rare early in the game but become more readily available as the game progresses. Beyond its direct use, the Elixir also serves as a material for crafting the higher-level item, Last Elixir. Players can obtain Elixirs through various means, including drops from specific enemies, finding them in treasure chests on the map, using item refinement, or as rewards from certain events. Furthermore, in Final Fantasy VIII, Elixirs can be used as material to refine "Remedy Plus" items, as well as used in weapon modifications.
