Amnesia Greens

In Final Fantasy VIII, "Amnesia Greens" (or "忘れ草" in Japanese) are an item that, despite their name suggesting a link to memory loss, do not have this function in the game. They cannot be used for magic refining, item refining, or weapon modifications. They are mainly acquired through purchasing in shops or obtained through the Chocobo World mini-game. They can also be found on the world map or dropped by monsters. Despite not having any crafting or strengthening purposes, they are still part of the game's world and item system. Players can find 'Amnesia Greens' through various means, as they are mentioned in enemy drop lists or item databases in different versions and guides. They are not a key item in Final Fantasy VIII, but still have a value and need to be collected for players who strive for a complete collection.
