GF Scroll

The "GF Scroll," known as "Ｇ．Ｆ．の書" in Japanese, is an important item in Final Fantasy VIII. It's not used directly in battle, but primarily for item refinement and weapon modification. Players can obtain the "GF Scroll" through various methods, such as purchasing it in stores or acquiring it in the "Chocobo World" minigame. Additionally, specific monsters in the game may drop this item. "GF" stands for "Guardian Force," the unique summon system in this game. The "GF Scroll" is not directly related to them; rather, it's a rare resource used to transform regular items into more powerful ones or enhance weapon performance. Players need to effectively utilize the refinement and modification systems to make the most of the "GF Scroll", boosting their team's strength and completing the game. In Final Fantasy VIII, managing resources wisely and taking advantage of the items' attributes are crucial to mastering the game.
