Diamond Armor

In Final Fantasy VIII, Diamond Armor is not a traditional piece of equipment but rather an item that grants the "GF HP+40%" ability to Guardian Forces (GF). Players can acquire it through various methods, including defeating specific enemies like Red Giants or through item refining. Using Quezacotl's Card Mod ability, one Seifer card can be refined into three Diamond Armors, while using Eden's GF ability, five Gold Armors can be refined into one Diamond Armor. Besides granting GF abilities, Diamond Armor can be refined into items like Pet Houses, Cottages, or Elemental Guards, making it multi-purpose. In combat, higher-level enemies tend to carry better magic and items, and Diamond Armor's ability to enhance a GF's hit points is essential for combat strategy and GF growth. Notably, while Diamond Armor typically appears as high-defense armor in other Final Fantasy games, its unique mechanics in Final Fantasy VIII set it apart.
