Adamantine

In Final Fantasy VIII, Adamantine (アダマンタイン) is a precious material often translated as "adamant" or "adamantite". It is primarily used for upgrading weapons, particularly the ultimate weapons of certain characters. Additionally, it serves as a GF (Guardian Force) medicine, granting the Vit+60% ability. Players can obtain Adamantine through various means, including defeating specific enemies like the Adamantoise, using the "Card Mod" ability on the Minotaur Card to get 10 Adamantine, or stealing it from the BGH251F2 enemy. It can also be created through refining with other items, or as a result of refining other items. Acquiring Adamantine can be challenging, but is essential for players looking to craft the strongest equipment and enhance their Guardian Forces.
