Moon Curtain

In Final Fantasy VIII, the Moon Curtain (月のカーテン) is a significant item. Its primary function is to allow G.F.s (Guardian Forces) to learn the 'Auto-Shell' ability, a beneficial buff that reduces physical damage. Additionally, the Moon Curtain can be used for magic refining, transforming it into 100 'Shell' magic spells. In the game, the Moon Curtain is not directly purchased or obtained through battles, but rather through specific means, such as refining items, like 'Magic Armlet', or obtained in Chocobo World, also through card modification, by turning Alexander cards into Moon Curtains. Due to its rarity and versatility, the Moon Curtain is an important item for players to acquire, providing significant assistance in battles. The methods of acquiring the Moon Curtain may vary across different versions, but in Final Fantasy VIII, it is primarily used to enhance the abilities of G.F.s and provide buffs for battles. The Moon Curtain is a recurring item in the Final Fantasy series, with different effects in various games, but it is typically associated with defense or buffs.
