Accelerators can be obtained in multiple ways, such as through card modification and item refinement. For instance, Kiros's card can be used to refine Lightweight items into Accelerators. They can also be obtained as drops from specific monsters or through side quests. The Accelerator is of significant strategic importance in the game, especially for combat styles that rely on speed. It allows characters to act more frequently, leading to faster release of attacks or healing skills. Therefore, players will often make the effort to acquire and use Accelerators to increase battle efficiency. As an ability, Auto-Haste significantly speeds up the character's ATB (Active Time Battle) gauge, making them more agile and advantageous in battles. Once learned, this skill is permanently active and the speed boost remains even if the character is defeated and revived.
